State of Operation
California raised the most capital in September, with $2M raised. Delaware raised $1M, and Pennsylvania with $726K, nearly doubling both state’s raise amounts since inception to $2.8M and $1.7M respectively.
In September, New Castle County, Delaware raised the most capital with just over $1.07M. This was due to Braidy Industries’ successful raise on NetCapital, a manufacturing company creating a new metal alloy that brings greater efficiency to space travel and vehicle transportation. San Francisco County came in second with $775K, and Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania in third with $620K.
Momentum on StartEngine
On StartEngine’s platform, companies raised a combined $2M. Gab AI, the free speech platform, raised $622K in September. Power Hero, a P2P electric vehicle charging marketplace, raised $150K, and Smoke Cartel, a retailer and distributor for smoking accessories and glassware, raised $110K.
